The problem we solve

You can be medically “fine” and still know, in your bones, that something is off.

01

The dismissed patient

Your labs are in range, your symptoms are real, and the explanation you were given was too small.

02

The careful skeptic

You do not want wellness theater. You want a clinician who can read the pattern and explain the why.

03

The exhausted achiever

You have tried harder than anyone knows. The work now is to stop forcing and start investigating.

Common concerns, mapped at the root

A compact index for messy symptoms.

Scan across clinical categories, then open any condition for the high-level root-cause overview. The layout is built like a working reference index, not a loose marketing grid.

How we help

Five pillars, one coherent plan.

The work is connected. Assessment may inform the map, nutrition and lifestyle may change the terrain, and coaching keeps the plan usable when that level of support fits.

These are broad examples. Specific tests, supplements, and protocol details are discussed privately only when they are relevant to an individual case.

Megha Shah, PT, CFNC — Founder of Pristine Functional Health

Meet your clinician

Megha Shah, PT, CFNC.

For over twenty years, Megha has worked with people the system couldn't help. As a Physical Therapist, she watched the same patients come back with the same pain — because nobody was looking deeper. As a Certified Functional Nutritional Counsellor, she now does what she always wanted to: treat the whole person.

Her practice is built on three quiet beliefs: that the body is intelligent, that symptoms are meaningful, and that healing — given the right conditions — is the most natural thing in the world.

Representative patient stories

Realistic patterns, specific next steps.

These composite stories show the kind of pattern-mapping patients often need: fewer generic pep talks, more useful connections between symptoms, labs, food, stress, sleep, and daily life.

How much will this cost me?

Program cost depends on the level of support, the program duration, and how customized your plan needs to be. Pristine Functional Health offers separate program options, and pricing is discussed privately during your free discovery call so you can understand the fit before making a decision.

How much time does it take?

Every person responds differently to nutrition changes, lifestyle work, and supplement support when appropriate. Some people notice progress earlier than expected, while others need more time because of health history, stress load, medications, sleep, digestion, hormones, or metabolic patterns. We set realistic checkpoints and adjust the plan as your body responds.

Where are you located?

Pristine Functional Health is based in Germantown, Maryland, and currently offers virtual and online consultation services. The benefit of virtual functional health coaching is that you can meet from home, work, or wherever you have a private internet connection.

What makes your program different than others?

We look at the body as a connected system instead of using a generic one-size-fits-all plan. Your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, nutrition patterns, goals, and available lab information are reviewed together so the plan can be built around the bigger picture.

Are your programs safe?

Safety is central to the process. Recommendations are individualized, conservative, and based on your history, current care, goals, and comfort level. Our services are educational and wellness-focused, and they do not replace medical diagnosis, emergency care, or treatment from your licensed medical providers.

Does insurance pay for your services?

Unfortunately, no. Pristine Functional Health is a private-pay service at this time. Program options, payment structure, and the level of support that makes the most sense for you can be discussed during your free discovery call.

Do you prescribe medications?

No. We do not prescribe medications or tell you to start, stop, or change prescribed medication. When appropriate, we may discuss nutrition, lifestyle, and wellness-focused supplement options, while medication decisions stay with your prescribing clinician.

You do not need a louder plan. You need the right questions.
